Q. Am I required to register prior to using the site?
No. You can access the free individual hospital lookup and can visit other parts of the site without registering. However, in order to purchase a Quick Report or an annual Subscription you must register or sign-on first.
Q. What should I do if I’ve lost my password?
Follow this link to reset your password on the login page.
Q. How much do data reports or lists cost?
The cost for Quick Reports vary, dependent on data included, and begin at $50 for a PDF. Custom Reports are available for subscription users only, and subscription prices vary depending on the number of years and data sets being accessed but begin at $6,500.
Q. What other resources are available from Health Forum?
We have reference publications and CDs as well as other database products. Additionally we have historical data sets from 1980 available for more robust healthcare analysis. Please contact our data experts at the AHA Resource Center, 312.422.2050 or rc@aha.org to discuss your data needs.
Q. What payment methods can I use?
Credit card payment is preferred, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. A secure ecommerce site is used for payment. For companies and healthcare organizations, purchase orders are available for subscription purchases. Q. How do I use a Purchase Order to purchase with a check?
Purchase Orders can be used to purchase subscriptions and Quick Reports over $500. To use a Purchase Order, you must be linked to your organization, which you can do by calling the AHA Resource Center at 312.422.2050. At checkout, click the Purchase Order checkbox and enter the Purchase Order number you wish to use. An email with your receipt and invoice information will be emailed to you, or you can download the information from your 'My Account' page after purchase. Purchased items will be made accessible upon receipt of the check.

Q. I received a promotion code. How can I use it?
Promotion codes can be entered on the Purchase Screen and the balance due will be calculated based on the promotion code. Promotion codes must be used prior to their expiration date to be valid.
Q. I cannot locate a file I already purchased. Is it still accessible?
All downloaded reports will be available in your “My Account” for 6 months after the initial download or purchase date, and any saved queries for an individual report will be stored in your “My Account” indefinitely. From your account, you will be able to modify, download, or repurchase any saved queries or stored reports. To access your “My Account” simply login to the site in the top right hand corner.
Q. I ordered a Quick Report but have not received it. Where is it?
After clicking the "Download" button next to a Quick Report, the report will be placed in your Cart. You can find your cart at the top right hand corner of the site. From your cart, you can pay for any Quick Reports ordered and then they will appear in the "My Account" page for download.
Q. What are the terms and conditions for use of the data?
You will have an opportunity to accept or decline the terms and conditions prior to purchasing a subscription. If your intended use is beyond the terms of the agreement, or if you need a special license agreement to accommodate redistribution, contact our sales department at AHAdatainfo@heatlhforum.com or 866-375-3633.
Q. What is the source of the data used AHA DataViewer?
The AHA Annual Survey of hospitals and IT supplement, and the AHA membership database. Learn more in the “About Us” pages.
Q. What years of data are currently available on this website?
Fiscal year’s 2006-2011 and the current year’s data. The current year data represents data updated and collect during the 2012 and 2013 calendar years and the FY 2012 AHA Annual Survey process.
Q. Are only AHA member hospitals included in the data available through this website?
Our inventory of hospitals includes members and non-members.
Q. How do I sort, cut, copy, and paste columns in my Quick Report or Custom Report?
In excel, highlight the last two rows of the report, the Copyright statement and the date generated. Then, on the Home tab, deselect the Merge & Center and Wrap Text buttons. This will allow you to sort, cut, and paste columns.
